Happy Birthday Dominic

Dominic had a great 6th birthday. Biscuits and gravy a fun day at co-op. An afternoon playing with his buddy Johnny and his birthday dinner: homemade mac n' cheese, lil' smokies, peaches and fruit pizza for dessert. He had a great day and he got some fun new gifts. 11.18.11

The Desert Oasis

We were studying living in the desert in one of our Medieval history lessons. The kids got to made a desert oasis out of candy. History is so sweet. 11.9.11

Happy 6th Birthday Super-Dominic

Deciding on a birthday cake theme this year was very difficult for Dominic. So many super-heroes to pick from...it is a hard decision. It is hard to top last years superhero volcano cake. So here is the Hall of Justice Cake. He even had a pinata with superhero villains on the top. He had a great party playing with his cousins and his friends. He spent most of the next few days playing Legos that he got from his Godparents. Still can't believe my baby is 6 years old! See here for previous birthdays age 2, age 3, age 4, age 5. 11.6.11

Halloween 2011

For trick or treating Dominic went as a knight and Isabella a lady-bug. They got to decorate and carve their own pumpkins this year. Isabella got really creative with the glitter glue and glowing hair. 10.31.11

All Saints Day Party

Our friends invited us to an amazing All Saint's Day party. We had a march of the little Saints, sack races, pinata, crafts, games and tons of candy. There was even a catapult to hurl "stones" and a giant Goliath. Good food, great friends and in the name of the Glorious Saints that have gone before us. 10.30.11

Magic Mania

Grandma & Grandpa invited us to a magic show at where they live. The kids got to be magician assistants. Dominic willingly put his arms in holes and the magician didn't even cut them off. (I don't think Dominic knew what could have happened). The kids loved the white rabbit.
The kids got to trick or treat Grandma & Grandpa too. 10.28.11

Library Halloween Party

Ms. Jenny came back from the annual Halloween party. We were sad to hear that Ms. Nancy is retiring. So the party was a little bitter sweet for our Incredibles. 10.27.11

The Great Scavenger Hunt

We went camping at Great-Grandma's farm and to kick off the day the kids found a special clue on Grandma's fridge...the great hunt started. They climbed trees, scurried through barns, used binoculars, magnifying glasses and cracked secret codes to get to the end of the hunt....to find buried treasure! By then it was dark so they had to use their flashlights. But the wooden box full of goodies was worth all the hard work....even if it took almost 2 hours to complete it. 10.15.11

Pumpkin Patch

Grandma Mary took all of us to the pumpkin patch for a day of good ol' country fun. Feeding rabbits, rubber ducky races, train rides, and corn mazes. We had a great day. 10.10.11

Visiting Grandma & Papa Paoletti

We made a trip to visit Grandma & Papa Paoletti. The kids had plenty of time to love on Grandma's kitties and ride the go-kart. 10.1.11

Boys weekend

We got to travel to Illinois for a family weekend while Michael, his dad and his cousin Michael D'Alessio went to firearm home protection course. Here are some pictures of the guys from their boys weekend. 10.1.11
